Barbaricum seeks an experienced Intelligence Operations SME to support an active contract providing direct support to Special Operations Forces. This individual will support the creation of a scalable next-generation Mission Command System to unify the SOF Enterprise via a Common Operational Picture (COP) providing global situational awareness, and will facilitate real-time collaboration and Command and Control (C2) technologies and mission command programs and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Global situational awareness through advising SOCOM leadership on technical and operational requirements associated with SOCOM Mission Command applications and systems, CJCS programs of record (C2IE, GCCS, AGILE Client)
  • Create, manage and supervise SOF authoritative Mission Command data layers and views using SOCOM Mission Command tools and geospatial applications
  • Develop and provide technical support and training to Mission Command staff on the digital production of: concept of operations, operational courses of action documentation, cradle-to-grave data creation and assessment, staffing processes, and dissemination and workflow development using approved SOCOM Mission Command tools and applications, and support the digital integration and exchange of enterprise trusted data sources and programs of record (SGE, Palantir, FADE/MIST, EIA, AGILE CLIENT, GCCS, AIDE, C2IE, JIRA, ATAK).
  • Maintain a working understanding of Cloud technologies, database methodologies and standards and AI technologies associated with DOD and SOCOM program

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but can be waived with sufficient SOF, Operational, FSR-FSE, and/or technical experience
  • Must be deployable to required theaters of operations
  • Resume must include and candidate must be able to articulate proficiency in the use and instruction of intelligence platforms FADE/MIST and Palantir.
  • Must pass all applicable medical, dental, physical, legal and administrative requirements required by the Theater Commander, DOD and the contract for deployment
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – strong Excel and PowerPoint skills needed
  • Must have an instruction background and be proficient with teaching the required POI
  • Strong technical background
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to explain and demonstrate complex concepts in an easily understood manner
  • Engaging personality, equally comfortable briefing Senior Leaders as well as working at the analyst level explaining complex ideas at team members at various levels
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team within a matrix organizational structure
  • Flexible and have the ability to operate within diverse environments with varying organizational cultures

Desired Experience

  • Former Senior Operations Planner with experience working in a JOC/TOC at multiple levels
  • Thorough understanding of Senior Leader Mission Command needs with experience integrating Operations and Client into a complete Mission Command picture
  • Six years supporting SOF elements
  • Experience fusing intelligence capabilities in support of operations and a working knowledge of command line and interacting with software, hardware, networks, and basic server administration
  • Ability to apply innovative solutions to data integration across multiple platforms
