Barbaricum is seeking a User Experience Engineer to support a SOCOM customer based at Fort Bragg focused on identifying and disrupting enemy influence operations. This Engineer will integrate with software engineers and data scientists to produce data visualizations and dashboard features for a common operating picture for end customers. They will create these features, visualizations, and web pages in an Azure Cloud environment, working with product owners to refine requirements and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required (TS and above strongly preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related analytic field
  • Experience developing in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery, Bootstrap and related web UI packages
  • Knowledge of browser variants (Chrome, IE, FireFox)
  • Experience ingesting JSON and XML
  • Coding experience in Python or PHP
  • Experience building custom dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
