Barbaricum is seeking a Content and Creative Services Program Manager to drive creative production and content lifecycle operations under the Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP) Outreach and Digital Enterprise Services (MODES) contract. This role leads an integrated team of writers, editors, and designers to deliver compelling, accessible content that supports MODES mission objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end content operations including editorial planning, brand alignment, and creative execution.
  • Oversee the daily activities of writers, editors, and designers across multiple platforms.
  • Align messaging and creative outputs with the DoD’s digital communications objectives.
  • Manage project timelines, reviews, testing cycles, and compliance processes.
  • Drive accessibility and user experience optimization per Section 508/WCAG guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent quality control, production standards, and measurable impact.

 

Qualifications:

  • Favorable adjudication of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)​.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, or related field.
  • 6+ years writing and editing for large organizations.
  • 3+ years supervising content and design teams.
  • 3+ years aligning brand strategy with editorial and visual outputs.
  • Proficient in web design, UX/UI, SEO, and Section 508/WCAG standards.
