Barbaricum is seeking an experienced Qlik Dashboard Developer to provide support for telemetry and maintenance visualization and analysis, which is focused on the direction, synchronization, and modernization of Condition Based Maintenance applications for the USMC. Specifically, dashboard development will be focused on communicating vehicle maintenance usage and reducing vehicle issues that impact mission readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Advana-based Qlik dashboards using data from DataBricks in IL5 systems.
- Design and develop interactive and user-friendly dashboards that visualize complex time series data sets.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation to prepare data sources for optimal performance and accuracy in dashboards.
- Ensure that dashboards load quickly and efficiently by optimizing queries, reducing data volume where necessary, and leveraging best practices for dashboard design.
- Work closely with users, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide dashboard solutions that meet their needs.
- Participate in feedback sessions, iteratively refine dashboards based on input, and ensure final deliverables align with business requirements.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of Qlik development experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- Experience leading dashboard projects
- Proven experience designing interactive, user-focused dashboards
- Proficiency in prototyping dashboard and data visualization designs
- Experience designing dashboards using Qlik strongly preferred (experience with similar tools such as PowerBI and Tableau will also be helpful)
- Proficiency in choosing the appropriate visualization components based on the nature of data
- Strong understanding of dashboard design principles and best practices
- Proven experience in translating user requirements into meaningful and effective data visualizations
- Experience developing dashboards with a user-centric approach
- Experience collaborating with data engineers to ensure data transformations align with dashboard design requirements
- Must be able to collaborate with Government managers and partner teams to define dashboard user experience
