Barbaricum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide support to an existing program augmenting the Maneuver, Surveillance and Engagement Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane.
 
This new effort will develop sustainable hardware and software solutions for rapid integration of components and systems, which will include the centralization of a counter-UAS common operating picture to protect assets in the National Capital Region. 
 

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • 7+ years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or Mathematics with concentration in Computer Science (Master's preferred)
  • Proficient in C, C++, and Java
  • Extensive Linux experience (with C, C++, Java)
  • Tactical networking experience
  • Experience with Simulation environments (NGTS, AFSIM, others) and data standards (DIS, HLA)
  • Possess ONE of the following active certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CSSLP, CISSP, ECSP or SECURE C++

Desired Qualifications

  • Python coding capability
  • Experience with Enhanced Battlespace Reconnaissance, Intelligence, and Surveillance Software (EBRISS) Core (ECORE)
