BARBARICUM SELECTS DAYTON FOR REGIONAL EXPANSION

Barbaricum to bring at least 80 Government contracting jobs to Ohio

DAYTON, Ohio – July 26, 2021 Barbaricum chose Dayton, Ohio, as the location for its newest regional office that will open in the summer of 2021. This expansion will create at least 80 jobs and generate more than $7.2 million in annual payroll in the Dayton metropolitan area.

Focused in Cyber / Intel, Integrated Communications, and Mission Support, Barbaricum’s expertise and access to market knows no limits. Whether at the Washington, D.C. headquarters, Tampa Data Innovation Lab, one of the many client-sites around the globe, or the new Dayton Office, Barbaricum has a wealth of experience delivering human-engineered, technology-driven solutions since 2008. As a service-disabled, Veteran-owned small business, Barbaricum is passionate about delivering what’s right for their government clients and bringing a deep understanding of the mission to the R&D cycle. This sense of duty and drive for mission success is inspired by the company’s culture of service and performance, as well as influenced by more than 40% of staff who either have or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

“As a long-time resident of the Dayton area, I’m thrilled to see that Barbaricum is bringing its capabilities to my hometown,” Barbaricum Executive Vice President, Mike Engle said. “I am very familiar with the solutions needed by NASIC [National Air and Space Intelligence Center] and the Wright-Patterson area, and frankly, I’ve yet to find another company that is so well equipped to deliver the specific technology and innovation required to achieve long-term success here.”

Working alongside the Dayton Development Coalition (DDC), JobsOhio, and the Ohio Department of Development, Barbaricum is seeking a range of talent to join the Dayton Regional Office. Desired areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, cyber and intelligence, software and cloud engineering, OSINT and PAI, DevSecOps, GEOINT, data science and analysis, strategic communication, marketing and advertising, media analysis, brand management, acquisition and procurement, rapid prototyping and development, acquisition and procurement, information technology, special operations, logistics, and Palantir.

“JobsOhio and DDC are excited to welcome Barbaricum to the Dayton Region,” DDC Executive Vice President of Regional Development, Julie Sullivan said. “The Federal contracting company’s latest regional expansion will bring almost 100 jobs to the Dayton-area focused in a variety of expertise areas, including cyber/intel, integrated communications, and mission support. This service-disabled, Veteran-owned small business is focused on building its team with those who are passionate about engineering solutions that push the limits of the endless innovation frontier.”
